What white label bookkeeping is
White-label bookkeeping is capacity you buy from another firm and deliver under your own name. Your client sees your brand, invoice, and relationship. Stronghold performs the transaction work and close, and a licensed CPA analyzes it before it returns to you.
Who this is for
An advisory practice that needs clean books underneath the advice and cannot rely on the client to produce them.
A tax-focused firm that keeps referring bookkeeping away and watching the relationship follow it.
A firm doing bookkeeping at a loss because it was never priced as a product.
A practice at capacity that does not want to hire ahead of the revenue.
A firm whose bookkeeping staff left in the middle of a season.
If you are a business owner rather than a firm, outsourced bookkeeping is the page you want.
What’s included
Categorization and reconciliationTransaction categorization and reconciliation on your clients’ files
CPA analysisCPA analysis before the file returns to you
Cleanup and catch-upCleanup and catch-up work where a client arrives behind
Year-end close packagesYear-end close packages ready for your tax team
A named contactA named contact at our end rather than a shared inbox
Referral shareFor referred relationships, Stronghold offers a 10% share of first-year annual revenue, consistent with the referral partner program.
White label accounting services stop where advisory begins. We do not talk to your client about strategy, pricing or their tax position unless you ask us to.
How the relationship usually runs. You own the client and the pricing. We work to a monthly calendar you set, deliver back to you in your format, and raise anything unusual with you rather than with them. Where a client question is purely mechanical, you decide whether it routes through you or comes to us directly under your brand.
What this is not. It is not a referral arrangement where we take over the relationship, and it is not an offshore back office where you inherit the review burden you were trying to avoid.
How it works
Step 1Partner callVolume, the kind of clients involved, and how you want the relationship to run.
Step 2PilotStart with one client file to confirm the workflow, reporting format, and communication rules.
Step 3OnboardingOnboarding per client file.
Step 4OngoingMonthly cycle, delivered back to you.
What it costs
Quoted per client fileWhite-label work is custom-quoted per client file. Referred relationships qualify for a 10% share of first-year annual revenue.
The scope reflects account complexity, transaction volume, service cadence, and the reporting format required by the partner firm.
See pricing →Why Stronghold
We stay invisible. No contact with your client unless you route it through us deliberately.Stronghold understands what a CPA firm's year-end team needs from the close and delivers the agreed package without making the partner re-explain basic accounting requirements. The economics usually work in your favour. Most firms that price bookkeeping as a favour to tax clients are losing money on it. Buying the capacity at a fixed cost per file lets you price it as a product, keep the relationship, and stop treating it as overhead attached to the return.

Stronghold has worked with more than 30 operating and accounting systems across multiple industries while standardizing the general ledger in QuickBooks Online.Across multiple industries

Common questions
White-label questions
Will my client know you exist?
Not unless you tell them. Work comes back to you and you deliver it.
Do you work in our file or yours?
We work in the client's existing QuickBooks Online file and follow the partner firm's agreed reporting and communication process.
What is the minimum volume?
Start with one client file; additional volume is scoped after the pilot workflow is proven.
Do you do white-label tax preparation as well?
Stronghold handles proactive tax planning and works with an integrated tax-preparation partner for filing. We coordinate the year-end handoff so the books, planning, and return preparation stay connected.
Are you offshore?
No. The team is US-based.
What happens if we want to take a file back in-house?
You take it. The file belongs to your client and you keep full access throughout.
Can you handle a client whose books are two years behind?
Yes. That is quoted as cleanup before any monthly cycle starts.
